The Electromagnetic Clutches are of Tooth and Multiple-Disk type. Multiple-Disk type clutches are known for their smooth acceleration and high operating performance and are divided into magnetic clutches with discs surrounded by the field of force and those not surrounded by the field of force.

The Electromagnetic Fail-Safe brakes are design to interrupt the torque transmission in the event of a power failure. The braking torque is applied by the spring force when the power supply to the coil is interrupted.
