Habitat for Humanity India is a non profit ecumenical Christian organisation which helps people to build decent homes regardless of caste, creed, sex or religion.
Habitat provides the capital and volunteers to anyone who meet the selection criteria. A partnership is created with the beneficiaries who will have to contribute their sweat equity and regular repayments.

Absolutely no interest is levied for the capital borrowed from Habitat. The repayments are ploughed back to help other people to own decent houses
